to reach the underworld in the myths, you had to cross the river Styx (sometimes also called Acheron), which was also known as "the river of hate".. the waters were said to be foul, something even the gods could not stomach. in more recent depictions (late medieval period on) the river was often shown as a river of corpses, the waters fouled with rot. more modern depictions within movies of the last few decades have turned this to a river of ghosts/souls..

@mithril: you really don't want to start with me and my anal-retentive mythology-specific knowledge. if you've got nothing constructive or positive to say about the pages, refrain from commenting. it saves bandwith. :)

@lethes.. chill.. i was responding to what i thought was a question from shadowhood. it wasn't intended as critism of the comic.

-w- Aw man, I just read through all this. Freaking love how you portray the Gods. Hades makes me laugh.
I also adore how he's not a villain. <3

just waiting for that moment when she regrets her decision... then the interesting drama can begin!

@shy.girl: you are a smart with a brilliant future ahead (NEW PAGE TOMORROW ;))

@GenesisInk: Hi there! Glad to know you're liking it <3 (One of the reasons we started this was that...we were tired of having Hades portrayed as the villain :) )

@LadyArrowsmith: oh...just wait and see ;)
